Promotion Eligibility To: Minimum Skill Level: Plus Time-In-Grade Of:
2nd Lieutenant ( 2LT ) Level I 6 Months as Senior Member
1st Lieutenant (1LT ) Technician Rating in a Specialty Track 12 Months as 2LT or TFO (Or combination thereof)
Captain ( CPT or CAPT ) Level II 18 Months as 1LT or SFO (Or combination thereof)
Major ( MAJ ) Level III 3 Years as Captain
Lieutenant Colonel ( LTC ) Level IV 4 Years as Major

Captain College Degree and Seminary   Licensed Physician, Dentist or others appointed as medical officer or assistant medical officer. Five years service as teacher, counselor, school administrator, college or university professor or other faculty member; Five years reduced to three for those with Master's Degree. Licensed Attorney, Appointed as Legal Officers.
Major College Degree, Seminary, and Doctorate, after one year as Captain.   Licensed Physician appointed medical officer after one year as Captain Five years professional service as educator and an earned doctorate, after one year as Captain Ten years service as attorney with one year as Captain
